What is Interact?
Interact is a program that empowers young people aged 12-18 to:
- Take action and serve their communities
- Develop leadership skills and confidence
- Connect with other cultures and global issues
- Have fun and make new friends
Interact Clubs
Interact clubs are:
- Sponsored by local Rotary clubs, which provide mentorship and resources
- Self-governing and self-supporting, which means they decide how to run their meetings, activities, and projects
- Part of a global network of more than 14,000 clubs in over 150 countries, with more than 300,000 members worldwide
Interact Projects
Interact clubs are expected to carry out at least two service projects every year:
- One that helps their school or community, such as book distribution, restroom renovation, or youth empowerment
- One that promotes international understanding, such as cultural exchange, peace education, or humanitarian aid
Interact Opportunities
nteract also offers opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and networking. Interact members can:
- Attend local and international events, such as Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), World Interact Week, and the Rotary Youth Exchange Program
- Join the Interact Alumni Network and stay connected with Rotary
